Canadians regret their tattoos more than people from most other countries, according to a study.
Preply looked at Google searches for tattoo removal and corrections and Canada finished in fifth place.
Not surprisingly, America topped the list, with more than a million (1.086 million) annual search demands for tattoo removal or corrections. Brazil (275,040), the U.K. (217,200) and India (119,880) were the only countries ahead of Canada’s 98,520 annual searches.
Germany and Australia weren’t far behind, with France, Poland and Italy rounding out the top 10.

The data was compiled in November 2022.
Preply also found that Japanese was the language most commonly tattooed worldwide, followed by Chinese, Arabic, and, surprisingly, Latin. English ranked 10th.
However, it found that Persian, Polish and Punjabi-language tattoos surged in popularity in 2022.
