Cops nab suspect, hunt for three others in homeless man's brutal Moss Park murder

Jeffrey Munro didn’t stand much of a chance.

Toronto Police say the 55-year-old homeless man was involved in an altercation with four other men in the area of Sherbourne St. and Queen St. E., near Moss Park, in the early morning hours of March 6.

When officers arrived at the scene they learned Munro had been stabbed in a violent altercation with four other men.

He was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.

His attackers were last seen fleeing eastbound on Queen St. E.

Cops say one suspect was identified and arrested on Friday.

Hussen Elmi, 36, is charged with second-degree murder.

Meanwhile, detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding three other suspects in the murder.

Canada-wide warrants have been issued for Jedidiah Creighton-Chevalier, 21, described as 5-foot-10 and 240 pounds; Hussein Ibrohim, 27, described as 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds; and Christopher Williamson, 35, described as 5-foot-6 and 130 pounds.

The trio is wanted for second-degree murder and cops have released their images.

All three should be considered armed and dangerous and the public should not approach.

So far there have been 10 homicides in Toronto in 2023 compared to 16 during the same period in 2022.
