Oilers vs Bruins Odds, Picks, and Predictions Tonight: Edmonton and Boston Light the Lamp, A Lot

The Edmonton Oilers are traveling to Boston to take on a Bruins team that has been the best team in the league all year long, but especially as of late as they enter this contest riding a 10-game winning streak.

This game will be very high paced, with back-and-forth action as these are two of the highest flying offenses in the NHL.

Quite literally, these two teams are No. 1 and No. 2 when it comes to scoring goals, and we should them on full display in Beantown tonight.

Oilers vs Bruins best odds

Oilers vs Bruins picks and predictions

Boston has gotten incredible goaltending from Linus Ullmark, but even though he has looked unbeatable at times, this Oilers’ group of forwards is hard to keep off the score sheet. Edmonton’s goaltending has been very weak this season and is allowing 3.29 goals against per game, so the Bruins’ offense should be able to finish its chances as well.

There is so much talent in this contest and I think it’s going to be very exciting. I expect to see some goals.

Oilers vs Bruins moneyline analysis

I know how good the Bruins have been not only as of late, but also on home ice all season. They are skating to a 26-2-3 record at TD Garden entering this game, but something about the way the Oilers have been playing lately makes me think there is incredible value on them to find a way to win this game.

Boston hasn’t had many let downs this season, but you have to think it’s due for a stinker at some point — and going up against this juggernaut of an offense could be what does it in.

The road team happens to be 5-0 in the last five meetings between these two teams and Edmonton has gone 5-1 in its last six trips to Boston, so this is not a building that intimidates it.

The Bruins don’t have many weaknesses, but the Oilers strengths might be a little too much.

I’m leaning toward the visitors.

Oilers vs Bruins Over/Under analysis

Edmonton’s defense and goaltending cannot be relied upon at all. A starting goalie hasn’t been announced just yet, but Stuart Skinner and Jack Campbell haven’t been all that impressive this season. Skinner has been the better of the two, sporting a .913 SV% and a 2.86 GAA, but Campbell has been very disappointing — entering this game with a .882 SV% and a 3.57 GAA.

I am very aware of how good Boston is defensively, but the Oilers can flat out score goals and they can explode any given night. Edmonton has the top offense and power play in the NHL, and it should certainly be able to put the puck in the net.

I love the Over.
