MomTok influencer Taylor Frankie Paul has been charged with domestic violence and aggravated assault triggered by a brouhaha at her Utah home.
Paul, 28, was charged late Tuesday in connection with an alleged Feb. 17 scrap with her boyfriend Dakota Mortensen, 30.
According to cops, Mortensen told officers he was trying to leave the swinging Mormon’s house when she hit him during a verbal spat. She then allegedly threw her cellphone and a wood playset in his direction.
In addition, Paul allegedly hurled three metal chairs at Mortensen, including one that reportedly hit one of her young children in the head.
Court documents allege Paul confessed to throwing the chairs and playset.
Video footage allegedly shows Paul grappling with her boyfriend and putting him in a chokehold as she hit him “multiple times.”
Paul and her ex-husband, Tate Paul, divorced last year after she admitted the couple were swingers and that she had crossed the line with one of her friend’s husbands. She has been seeing Morgan since last summer.
“Dakota reported feeling scared for his life. Dakota was observed with redness and swelling around his eyes, swelling on his elbow, scratches on his fingers, and a laceration on his neck,” the court document states.
Taylor Frankie Paul is slated to be back in court on March 21.
If convicted, she could face five years in prison, although that is doubtful.
It isn’t known whether the manic mama has custody of her two kids or whether her ex-husband has them. So far, it also isn’t clear whether Paul and Mortensen are still together.
Earlier, Mortensen told the Daily Mail the pair hadn’t argued and that the switch-hitting stunner would never intentionally harm anyone. He said a neighbour called the cops.
Paul rose to fame on social media sub-genre MomTok and has more than 4 million followers, along with 271,000 Instagram devotees.
