Three minors arrested after 140 cars vandalized over six hours in Lévis, Que.

Police in Lévis announced on Monday that they have arrested three minors in connection with a vandalism spree this month that left 140 vehicles damaged.

The incidents occurred over the course of the night of March 10-11. Between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., 140 vehicles in the city’s St-David district were vandalized. Police estimate the damage done to the vehicles to be more than $100,000.

The trio of suspects were released subject to conditions and are expected to appear in Youth Court to face charges of committing mischief worth more than $5,000.

The investigation into the incident is continuing, and police are urging anyone with any information — particularly residents of homes equipped with surveillance cameras that may have captured images of the event — to contact then.
