Ariana Grande gets emotional after her entire team is eliminated from ‘The Voice’
Ariana Grande is ending her time as coach on “The Voice” early.
Last week, her team had one duo left in the competition — Jim & Sasha Allen. Meanwhile Blake Shelton had three contestants, and John Legend and Kelly Clarkson each had two, per Deseret News.
Coaches aren’t guaranteed to have a representative in the finale and that became a reality for team Grande when Jim & Sasha Allen got eliminated.
“Tuesdays are the worst days ever,” Grande said in tears when the five finalists were revealed following Monday’s semifinal performances, according to USA Today.
She later took to Twitter to share her thoughts about the experience. She wrote, “it is a season wrap for team ariana!”
“I AM BURSTING with pride for jim and sasha and all of everyone from #teamariana …. to have met & worked with such brilliant artists is the greatest gift and honor of all of this,” she said. “i can’t believe there wasn’t a time i didn’t know you all.”
“It’s truly just the beginning for all of these brilliant humans,” she continued. ”i’ll be here always. thank you for enriching my life in ways i can’t even attempt to articulate. your presence and this whole experience has brought so much joy and fulfillment creatively and personally.”
“Tonight we celebrate !!! you and your brilliance and hard work. not one moment of this has been easy on any of you mentally, physically, vocally. here’s to a gorgeous new chapter for you all.”

That ends Grande’s quest to become the third coach in history to win in their first season. Clarkson won on her first attempt in 2018 and Legend won in 2019.
Shelton has Wendy Moten and Paris Winningham in the race. Girl Named Tom and Hailey Mia, both moved to the finals from Team Kelly. Joshua Vacanti is the only one left on Team Legend.
