Davis announced his commitment to Utah via Twitter on Wednesday evening

For the third day in a row on Wednesday, the Utah football program landed a commitment for its 2022 recruiting class as it tries to finish strong before the early signing period next week.

This time, it is Florida safety Elijah Davis who pledged.

He announced his decision on Twitter.

Davis is listed by 247 Sports at 6-foot-1 and 165 pounds. According to the site, he only received a scholarship offer from Utah on Nov. 24.

Also according to the site, he has not taken a visit to Utah. Last weekend, he went on an official visit to USF, where he had committed to in April before decommitting in June.

Davis becomes the 12th prospect to commit to Utah as part of its 2022 recruiting class.
