Honduran president tests positive for COVID-19

TEGUCIGALPA --
Honduran President Xiomara Castro has examined constructive for COVID-19, she stated on Sunday, including that she has delicate signs and might be working in isolation.


The 62-year-old, who put the left again in energy 12 years after her husband was ousted in a coup, was sworn into workplace in late January.


Castro stated on Twitter that an earlier check had been unfavourable.


Taiwan's presidential workplace stated Vice President William Lai, who met Castro in Honduras final month whereas he was there for her inauguration, was in good well being and his COVID-19 checks had all come again unfavourable.


Lai is in the midst of a two-week quarantine after his return to Taipei.
