'Ozark's' Jason Bateman feted as Hasty Pudding Man of Year

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. --
"Ozark" actor Jason Bateman is being feted as 2022 Man of the 12 months by Harvard College's Hasty Pudding Theatricals.


Thursday night's festivities will mark the primary time the award has been introduced because the coronavirus pandemic started in 2020.


The "Arrested Improvement" star additionally produced and directed "Ozark," a preferred Netflix collection. He is the fifty fifth recipient of the theater troupe's coveted pudding pot.


The final Man of the 12 months was Ben Platt in 2020. Previous recipients embrace Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, Robert De Niro and Samuel L. Jackson. The 2022 Lady of the 12 months, Jennifer Garner, might be honored Saturday.


Bateman, 52, earned a Primetime Emmy for excellent directing in a drama in 2020 for "Ozark," two SAG awards for appearing in "Ozark," and a greatest actor Golden Globe in 2005 for his portrayal of Michael Bluth in "Arrested Improvement."
