Morning Joe Host Joe Scarborough says Rupert Murdoch is making an attempt to stymie Donald Trump after the conservative media mogul hyped a preview of a combative interview with the previous president.

The rift appeared to widen when tv character Piers Morgan on Wednesday posted a 30-second promo for his upcoming interview with Trump set to premiere on Murdoch-owned Fox Nation subsequent week. The promo, set to dramatic music, reveals Trump calling Morgan "very dishonest" as the 2 argue over the 2020 election. The promo reveals Trump ending the interview by storming out.

Trump has since accused Morgan of deceptively modifying the interview and insisted he did not stroll out.

A gleeful Scarborough on Thursday reacted to the interview trailer by saying it confirmed Trump was out of contact with actuality and "bubble-wrapped."
