A bus with dozens of unlawful immigrants arrived in Washington, D.C. from Texas on Wednesday, pulling up blocks away from the U.S. Capitol and permitting the folks to disembark.

The arrival made good on Texas Governor Greg Abbott's announcement final week that he had directed the Texas Division of Emergency Administration (TDEM) to bus migrants who had been launched from federal custody out of Texas to D.C. or different places, Fox Information reported. Final week, White Home Press Secretary Jen Psaki described Abbott's plans as a "publicity stunt" throughout a press briefing, based on The Hill.

Earlier this month, the Biden administration introduced that it was rescinding Title 42, a Trump-era border coverage that imposed sweeping asylum limits to fight COVID-19 unfold allegedly attributable to migrants.
