OPP in Elgin County have closed a bit of Quaker Highway close to Sparta, Ont. following a collision involving a bicycle owner.
Const. Adam Crewdson of Elgin OPP tells CTV Information London a truck and bicycle owner have been each touring southbound on Quaker Highway when the bicycle owner was struck.
The bicycle owner was taken to hospital by air ambulance with what police describe as non-life threatening accidents.
Quaker Highway was closed between Southdale Line and Brouwers Line for about two-and-a-half hours whereas police investigated, however has been reopened.
