Environment Canada warns of heavy rain inbound for southeast

Setting Canada launched a rainfall warning Saturday afternoon predicting 30-50mm of rainfall for the southeast nook of the province.

The warning extends from the Canada/U.S border to the group of Whitewood, and as far west as Weyburn.

The federal climate company warns that heavy rain could cause flash floods and that “localized flooding in low-lying areas is feasible.”

Setting Canada urges residents within the areas beneath warning to be conscious of the present climate circumstances and to hear for updates because the state of affairs progresses.

In accordance with the most recent forecast, the heavy rainfall is about to start truly fizzling out Sunday night.
