Hockey Canada and the Canadian Hockey League have reportedly settled a lawsuit with a lady who claimed she was sexually assaulted by eight members of the 2018 Canadian world junior hockey staff.
TSN first reported the settlement Thursday, it was later confirmed by Sportsnet.
The plaintiff, recognized as "E.M." in courtroom information, claimed she was repeatedly assaulted whereas intoxicated in a London, Ont. lodge room in 2018 following a Hockey Canada occasion honouring Canada's gold medal-winning junior staff.
The girl, now 24, was looking for $3.55 million in damages.
