Two individuals have died and others had been injured following a four-vehicle crash in Chatham, Ont. Friday night.
Officers responded to the deadly collision round 7 p.m. on Queen’s Line at Dillon Highway.
Police say early investigation reveals a 27-year-old Windsor man was driving eastbound on Queen’s Line when he collided with a pickup truck travelling westbound on the identical highway.
The person’s car then went on to crash into an older-model Buick with 5 occupants inside. The Buick was instantly behind the pickup truck.
Police say a fourth car was not directly concerned when it veered off the highway to keep away from the crash.
Two occupants of the Buick had been pronounced lifeless on the scene.
All different concerned occupants had been taken to Chatham-Kent Well being Alliance for therapy of non-life-threatening accidents.
Police say the names of the deceased won't be launched right now out of respect for the households.
