Cops looking for two women after FedEx vehicle, packages stolen

Toronto police are on the hunt for two women who allegedly stole a FedEx vehicle in the downtown core.

Police say on Wednesday, July 6, at 5:40 p.m., a FedEx employee was making a delivery in the Adelaide St. and Bathurst St. area and when the employee returned the vehicle was gone.

It was later found in a parking lot in the Adelaide St. and Portland St. area unoccupied.

The vehicle wasn’t damaged but the keys and packages were missing.

The first woman is described as 5-foot-7, with a heavy build, long dark hair, and at the time she was wearing a tan tank top, blue jean shorts and black running shoes and carrying a black back pack.

The second woman is described as 5-foot-7, a thin build, with short dark hair, and at the time she was wearing a red top, black pants, black shoes and carrying a multi-coloured back pack.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-1400, or call Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
