Two people were killed in a crash involving an SUV and a transport truck on the QEW in Mississauga early Saturday.
Ontario Provincial Police say the collision on the highway occurred just after 4 a.m.
The transport truck struck the SUV as it was merging onto the QEW, police say.
The SUV’s female driver and male passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was uninjured.
The eastbound lanes of the QEW were closed as police investigated the deadly crash.
