A flash of violence Boxing Day afternoon left a man wounded after a stabbing in Scarborough Monday.
The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Toronto Police are investigating the incident that happened near an apartment building in Scarborough.
Police got the call at about 2:37 p.m. about a man who had been stabbed and found near Eglinton Av. E., just east of Markham Rd.
“When we arrived on scene, paramedics advised us that they did locate a victim – who was a man – and that they had transported the man to hospital prior to police arrival,” said a police spokesperson.
Investigators are trying to piece together what sparked the incident.
No suspect information has yet been released, but police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
