FSIN issues missing person alert for man last seen in Prince Albert on New Year's Day

Dwight Whitehead, 32, was last seen by friends and family on Jan. 1 around 2 a.m., walking away from the Comfort Inn in the 3800 block of Second Avenue West in Prince Albert.

The Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations issued a missing person alert in an attempt to locate a 32-year-old man who was last seen on New Year’s Day in Prince Albert.

Friends and family last saw Dwight Whitehead on Jan. 1 around 2 a.m., walking away from the Comfort Inn in the 3800 block of Second Avenue West in Prince Albert.

According to the FSIN, he was wearing a black sweater, blue jeans and a hat. He was without his winter jacket and cell phone.

Prince Albert city police later issued a call for help from the public, noting that Whitehead was reported missing to police on Jan. 8.

“We are just assisting the family who asked FSIN to help get the word out in hopes someone from the public might have seen Dwight,” an FSIN spokesperson said in an email.

Whitehead is 5’8″ and 180 pounds, with very short hair and brown eyes.
