Toronto police have arrested two males who allegedly impersonated officers and carried out site visitors stops in Scarborough late final month.


Final week, police issued a information launch to ask for the general public's assist finding 29-year-old Dylan Sherief of Markham and 22-year-old Donivan Comeau of Toronto.


Police stated the 2 allegedly pretended to be officers and stopped a number of autos within the space of Kingston and Brimley roads on Dec. 27, 2021.


The 2 males allegedly wore tactical clothes with "Federal Brokers" logos and caught emergency lights on their car.


Police stated Sherief and Comeau allegedly instructed the drivers they stopped that they had been being investigated and requested for his or her identification.


On Wednesday, police introduced that the 2 males had been arrested.


Sherief and Comeau have every been charged with 4 counts of impersonating a peace officer, 4 counts of forcible confinement and 4 counts of fraud.

They each appeared in court docket on Wednesday.
