Bella the puppy to reunite with owner after alleged dognapping

Bella the dog is going home.

Toronto Police say the pet, which was previously reported stolen, was hit by a vehicle in the Scarborough area. Cops say a Good Samaritan took her to a veterinarian to be treated for her injuries and Bella will be reunited with her owner on Monday afternoon at a Toronto Animal Shelter.

Police are still looking for a 26-year-old Toronto woman who is wanted in the theft of the dog.

Police on Sunday released photos of both the suspect, Tiffany Ellis, and the canine, a female Terrier puppy named Bella.
