FREEDOM TO SPEND

Forty years ago, Pierre Trudeau signed into law the Constitution and the accompanying Charter of Rights and Freedoms, a cherished document that the son invokes when it suits him and ignores when it does not. Liberals already have a national shill in the CBC, they subsidize major print media, and now Bill C-11 proposes government censorship of social media, something Putin already enjoys. What could possibly go wrong? In seven short years, Justin Trudeau has doubled the debt, obliterated any notion of openness, transparency and accountability, struggled with truth, manipulated the parliamentary system by proroguing, thus breaking a pledge, and formed a coalition with the NDP. He has obstructed resource development, denying resulting jobs, revenues, potential aid in global emission reduction, support for Indigenous communities, help with energy poverty and support for democracies across the globe while further alienating the West. Disagreement with our anointed PM brands you a racist, misogynist, rapist or Neanderthal. Inflation is at a 30-plus-year high, gasoline is at historic levels and interest rates are rising. The Liberal response is continued massive deficits, believing them to be a solution rather than inflationary in their own right. If the well-insulated elites consider such mundane things as the rising cost of living, the likely response will be more government programs keeping Canadians dependent, with yet more borrowed money, fueling more inflation. Canadian economic productivity, a key competitive performance indicator, continues to decline. Well done.

HYPNOTIZED

I feel as if I’m trapped in a corn maze, with no exit, doomed to wander about, searching for something, anything, that will deliver myself and all Canadians from this Tim Burton nightmare that is our Liberal government, seemingly hell-bent, God only knows why, on deliberately sabotaging our economy, resource sectors, way of life, in a mad, delusional attempt to play some sort of global saviour, revered, loved by all. Ignoring all that currently threatens us, Trudeau, like Biden, tries desperately to have us gaze at the swinging watch, in order, as if magically we do, that the incoming fiscal tsunami will disappear. Luckily, like all nightmares will, we awaken, sadly, in this case, life, reality, will mirror what fears are in our minds.

KINSELLA FAN LETTER #2

Re “‘Nuts’ on top” (Warren Kinsella, July 17): Once again I must object to the Sun handing Poilievre ‘hater’ Kinsella a pulpit for his jaded opinion. Climate change is not based on science. Any recognized acclaimed scientists were forced out of that profession long ago. And COVID vaccinations are still experimental and not yet proven long term to be entirely safe. The record of frightening side effects is alarming. Anyone who gets their info on that subject from the MSM mouthpieces are under the heel of the Biden/Trudeau control freaks. As usual, Kinsella trashes Donald Trump, parroting the far-left extremists, the frustrated haters of that president when stats from his presidency clearly show he improved the lives of every American. It is obvious this commentator is hellbent on destroying Pierre Poilievre as Canadians recognize this seasoned Parliamentarian has demonstrated he is the one honest, forthright politician whose record proves he knows exactly who the villains are and how to return Canada to the ethical, law-abiding, safe and well-respected country it was before Trudeau deliberately trashed it to do the bidding of the global oligarchs.
