A man’s death overnight in downtown Toronto is being investigated as a homicide.
Toronto Police were called around 12:20 a.m. to 1 University Ave. just north of Front St.
Paramedics had been called about 10 minutes earlier for reports of an assault.
A man was taken to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition where he later died.
The victim’s age was no immediately known.
Investigators said several people have been arrested in connection with the incident and there were no outstanding suspects.
