A man is in custody after reports of suspicious activity and a “package on a GO bus” in the carpool lot at Hwy. 401 and Hwy. 25 in Milton on Sunday night.
Halton Regional Police were called to the carpool lot before 7 p.m.
Police urged people to avoid the parking lot, and said the surrounding area was restricted. Later, police said the male was in custody and all passengers and the driver were safely evacuated from the bus.
The investigation is ongoing.
