NFL Week 17 picks and predictions

It's the penultimate week of the NFL's regular season and there are plenty of important games with playoff implications. Our game of the week features two of the best young quarterbacks in the league who have already led their teams to postseason berths.

Philadelphia Eagles are 6-1 at home against the spread this season. They will host the New Orleans in Week 17.

With two weeks remaining in the NFL regular season, we sit just one game below .500, picking against the field here at FrontPageBets.

Last week, I took five home favorites to win straight up, but not cover. That didn't work, going 1-4 ATS.

So we're flipping the script in Week 17.

Out of 10 home favorites, I'm rolling with nine to win and cover: the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Those nine teams are a combined 65-66-4 against the spread this year, and are 18-22-2 as home favorites. At home ATS, they are 30-30-3, including the Eagles, who are 6-1 and the Lions, who are 6-2. The Giants are 5-3 at home against the spread.

The Bucs are 0-6-1 at home ATS and 3-11-1 overall. Here's hoping Tom Brady and Co. can cover the 3 points against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium, which would also clinch the NFC South for Tampa Bay.
